How we work together — what you can expect from us and what we expect from you.
Using snkdevworks.techor hiring us for a project means you've read and accepted these terms. If anything here doesn't work for you, please reach out before we start — we're always open to a conversation.
SNK DevWorks is a digital agency based in Kolkata. We build websites, mobile apps, and help businesses establish a strong online presence. Our core services include:
Every project starts with a written proposal — scope, timeline, and cost all agreed before we write a single line of code.
Good work requires good collaboration. We ask that you provide accurate information, share required content and feedback on time, and use our services only for lawful purposes. Delays caused by late approvals or missing assets may push project timelines, and that's something we'd both like to avoid.
We typically ask for 50% upfront before starting, with the remaining balance due at completion or at agreed milestones — whichever is specified in your invoice. All amounts are in INR unless stated otherwise.
If payment is overdue, we reserve the right to pause work until it's settled. We won't spring surprise charges on you — any extra costs are discussed and agreed in writing first.
Once a project is fully paid for, ownership of the deliverables — the website, app, designs, code — transfers to you. Simple as that.
We do keep the right to feature your project in our portfolio unless you'd prefer we don't. Just let us know in writing at the start.
Third-party assets like stock photos, icon libraries, or paid fonts may carry their own licensing terms. We'll flag these during the project so there are no surprises later.
Feedback rounds within the agreed scope are included — we don't nickel-and-dime you for small changes. However, if the direction shifts significantly after sign-off (new pages, redesigns, platform switches), we'll quote separately before doing that work. All revision requests should come through email or WhatsApp so we have a clear record.
We do our best work on every project, but we can't be held responsible for indirect losses — things like lost revenue, downtime caused by third-party hosting, or data loss outside our control. In any case, our liability is capped at the amount you paid us for the specific service involved.
Either side can end a project with written notice. You'd owe us for work completed to that point. We may end things immediately if there's a serious breach — like non-payment, abusive communication, or asking us to do something illegal.
These terms are governed by Indian law. If a dispute ever reaches the point of needing a court, it would be handled in Kolkata, West Bengal. That said, we'd always rather sort things out directly — feel free to contact us first.
We may update these terms occasionally. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. Continued use of the site or our services means you're okay with the updated version.
